Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Dallas is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I found this cafe on Google Maps and was delighted to see it was in such a beautiful location. I got their version of Vietnamese coffee with a German twist and a blueberry tart. It was the most delicious tart I ever had the pleasure of eating. It is a wonderful cafe where you can read in content. The bathrooms are clean and the workers take pride in their work.

Overall: 3.4/5 [take out] The bakery and market has a beautiful European style interior that was definitely giving luxe. I came in around 8:30 AM on a weekday and they did not have the pistachio croissant ready yet so I got the Le Crookie ($7) instead. They have two cookie options and I went with the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie baked inside a croissant. It was not overly sweet and was pretty cohesive but the cookie was so soft that it blended right into the croissant. The exterior had a slight crisp to it but the textures were not contrasting enough to feel like two distinct components. If I had eaten this without knowing what it was I never would have guessed there was a cookie inside. I got the 20 oz Iced Ube Matcha ($7) with almond milk and appreciated that they do not charge extra for milk alternatives. Unfortunately the drink was not good. I could barely taste any matcha or ube and it seemed like there was no sweetener in it at all. The melting ice did not help either and I ended up adding some Vietnamese coffee when I got home just to give it some flavor and depth. I am still willing to come back to try their coffee and the pistachio croissant though.

Cute spot for a break surrounded by a fountain and trees. their pastries are quite good and reasonably priced. I got the Einspanner latte and that was a disappointment. He tasted more like an iced mocha with whipped cream. They need to work on that recipe. They also sell wine, chocolates, and French/ Italians delicacies. Definitely holds promise. I will go back to try some of their other goodies.

Got an iced lavender latte that was amazing, the la campagne sandwich and le crookie, which were all workersβ recommendations and all so freaking good. I ate them outside near the fountains and it was just a great meal and atmosphere!

Well made drinks, soft and flaky breads/pastries, and outside seating that provides a beautiful view of the water fountains and flowers. I think the service could have been better, offering to warm up my pastries would have elevated the experience. We walked over from our hotel but I did see there was a parking garage that will validate your parking.
